Segments & lists
Group customers by who they are, what they do, and what they pay. Dynamic segments are live rule sets (over traits, events, and enriched billing data) that re-evaluate on a schedule and update their own membership as customers change. Each becomes a lifecycle state (free-and-active, at-risk, power-user) a customer enters and leaves; static lists stay fixed cohorts you curate. Every segment carries an engagement score and can target a campaign or enroll an automation.
Your audiences are stale the moment you build them
A cohort exported to a spreadsheet is out of date by lunch. Rebuilding it every send is tedious, mistakes creep in, and the people who just became at-risk, the ones you most need to reach, never make it onto the list.
The flow, end to end
Define
Build a rule from traits and behaviors, or upload a static list of customers.
Evaluate
Dynamic segments recompute on a schedule so membership tracks reality.
Score
Engagement scoring runs alongside, so you can target the warm or the cooling.
Target
Point a campaign or an automation at the segment; it always reads the current members.
What's in the box
Dynamic segments
Rule sets over traits and behavior that re-evaluate automatically and keep membership current.
Static lists
Fixed cohorts you upload or hand-pick when you want an audience that doesn't move.
Engagement scoring
Every customer carries an engagement score you can filter and target on.
Trait, billing & behavior rules
Combine who a customer is (plan, MRR, trial status, any trait) with what they've done, matched down to starts-with and ends-with.
Auto-refresh
A background job recomputes segment membership and match counts on a schedule.
Use anywhere
Any segment can be a campaign audience or an automation's enrollment filter.
Segments that update themselves
A dynamic segment is a query, not a snapshot. As customers cross its rules (a feature goes unused for a week, a plan changes, a score dips), they join or leave on the next evaluation, so the audience a campaign sends to is always the current one.
- ✓Rules over traits, events, billing and scores
- ✓Scheduled re-evaluation keeps membership honest
- ✓Match counts recomputed so you always know the size
Dynamic or static, targeted the same way
Whether an audience is a live rule set or a fixed list, it plugs into the rest of Banchurn identically: as the recipients of a batch send, the entry filter for a triggered journey, or the population an analysis runs over. Build it once, use it everywhere.
- ✓Dynamic segments and static lists, one interface
- ✓Drives campaigns, automations, and analytics alike
- ✓Engagement score available as a targeting dimension
Campaigns
